Accepting Life's Setbacks: A Journey of Rediscovery and Intentional Living



In my role as a life coach specializing in guiding women through loss, grief, and the challenging process of redefining their lives, I draw deeply from personal experience to empower others to rediscover their true essence and become champion overcomers. 


My journey has been marked by numerous setbacks, each serving as a catalyst for growth and transformation.


Journey Through Adversity


From the early struggles of being a young mother and navigating adulthood while missing out on cherished experiences, to enduring the loss of significant jobs, relationships, material possessions, and ultimately, the devastating passing of my beloved husband, Darrell, at the age of 49, my life has been a testament to resilience in the face of adversity.


Darrell's death in 2017 was a pivotal moment that compelled me to reassess my priorities and embrace intentional living with renewed vigor. Amidst waves of grief and reflection, I embarked on a journey of self-discovery, seeking to honor his memory by living a life of purpose and fulfillment.


Rediscovering What Matters


Central to this journey was the recognition of what truly matters: health, wealth, meaningful relationships, and making a positive impact in the lives of others. I realized that time is our most precious commodity, and living intentionally is the key to maximizing its value.


Embracing intentional living is not without its challenges. There are moments of doubt, impatience, and setbacks along the way. Yet, even in the midst of adversity, I find solace in knowing that every setback is an opportunity for growth and renewal.


Through self-reflection, spiritual connection, and a commitment to continuous improvement, I navigate life's complexities with resilience and grace. I acknowledge my imperfections and mistakes, but I refuse to be defined by them. Instead, I choose to focus on the present moment, cultivating gratitude and embracing the journey, one intentional step at a time.


From Social Work to Coaching


My journey into coaching was a natural progression from my extensive background in social work, specializing in child protective services and adult mental health and addiction services. Over the years, I've had the privilege of helping individuals navigate complex life transitions, offering them support and guidance during their darkest moments.
